• For dogs with severe joint problems, hip dysplasia, tendon and ligament damage we recommend 2 Capsules on a daily basis to supply 500mg Glucosamine Sulfate, 500mg of MSM and& 400mg Chondroitin Sulfate. 

• For healthy adult dogs on a general well-care regime, we recommend 1 capsule  per day. 

• For puppies and dogs under 10 months old, 1 capsule per day. Feed in the morning for best results.

Glucosamine, Chondroitin and MSM are several components that aid in the formation of the cushioning ingredients of the joint fluid, soft tissue and connective tissue areas. These nutrients work together with other macromolecules to make synovial fluid thicker and more elastic. Glucosamine, Collagen & Chondroitin help and promote in healing of damaged connective tissue, relieving pain in those areas as they aid in the manufacture of proteo-glycans necessary for the repair of articular cartilage in injured joints and replacing synovial fluids that are lost during injuries and in periods of high strenuous activity. MSM provides more circulation to the affected areas, thus bringing in more of the nutrients that are needed for healthy joints. All the ingredients work together as natural anti-inflammatory to reduce swelling due to injuries or from sprains, strains or over-exertion.

For Labradors of low to above average activity we have been adding 1 capsule per day. For dogs in higher stress, more strenuous activities, or where joint stiffness is apparent, 2 capsules per day seems to work well. For puppies age 8 weeks to 16 weeks 1/2 a capsule per day. The capsules can be pulled apart and the contents poured directly on the food. After 6 months of age 1 capsule per day. For injuries we recommend 2capsules a day of Lab Flex Plus and the addition of our food supplement (Lab Glo) and the vitamin supplement (Lab Forte).
